Sandra Mall is one of the oldest shopping malls in the town.
Formerly called as the “Sandra Theater”, this place has been gone long enough that the generation of today were not able to know about the very existence of this place. To most of the elders in town, they were still able to tell stories about the glory days of this shopping mall back in the days. Some of them even have fun memories but as the years go by, this mall was not able to adapt to the fast-pace changes that occurred in Angeles City. But one good thing about it is that they were able to even preserve the building making some of the residents nostalgic as they take a quick glimpse of Sandra Mall untouched and unaltered. To the young people, it is just one of the old structures in town that has been there through the years. As of today, this has been well-known because of the long line of tricycles standing by waiting for a passenger to call out. This has been a trike terminal intended for those people who are living within the area.
Sandra Mall is built in a good place where a lot of people can see the establishment right away for it is located in one of the corner streets of the district. Furthermore, the business is not what it used to be but the freestanding stalls across the street is one of the well-known flea market that normally sells different kinds of fruits, vegetables, meat produce and other kinds of market merchandises. Sandra Mall like the other neighboring malls has become one great place in the past and people will surely miss the days when it was still called the “Sandra Theater”. The business has been down for years and was never able to come back as a commercialized mall.
